Translating Fc-Mediated Therapeutics to Clinic Across More Diverse Disease Landscapes for More Efficacious Treatment
Time: 1:30 pm
day: Pre-Conference Day
Details:
Expanding the therapeutic application of Fc-mediated therapies to unlock their potential beyond standard indications to open new avenues for treating complex diseases like cancer, autoimmune disorders, and arthritis.
This workshop will focus on:
- Analysing the comparative immunological landscape in cancer, autoimmune diseases, and arthritis to identify disease-specific pathophysiological mechanisms to enable the precise selection of key therapeutic targets for Fc-mediated interventions
- Identifying key targets for Fc-mediated intervention within each disease area to tailor therapeutic strategies to specific disease drivers to maximise the efficacy and specificity of Fc-based therapeutics across diverse disease landscapes
- Exploring case studies for Fc-based therapies for arthritis, including targeting bone remodelling and pain signalling to address joint destruction and pain management to create comprehensive treatment strategies to improve patient mobility and quality of life
